Decomposition of monolithic architecture

The original monolithic application did not allow for easy extension of the application's use beyond the existing BNP Cardif AT partner and was thus limited to a single business partner.

The goal was to modernize the application according to today's microservice architecture trends.

We rewrote the application for client acquisition and contract signing as a microservices application, where the individual components are developed independently of each other, connected by an integration layer of shared APIs.

The result is a flexible, more scalable application ready for further development and onboarding of new partners for BNP Paribas Cardif Pojistovna.

Likewise, the application is easier to and can be managed through multiple development teams.

Digitalization of insurance claim settlement


For the client, we provided a complete digital service that allows users to settle an insurance claim entirely online in the environment of a multinational corporation.

We built the client zone on the Liferay platform in conjunction with the modern front-end library ReactJS and tuned the entire environment's UX.

By digitizing the client zone, the client saved significantly on client service costs, and streamlined and accelerated the entire claims process, including improving the customer experience.

Multi-tenant company portal for other countries


For BNP Paribas Cardif Pojistovna's shared services centre, we have established a portal solution on top of the Liferay platform, which today serves 12 countries and is set to expand further in the coming years.

The multi-tenant solution supports access by independent regional centres, ensuring maximum data and access security and optimising operating costs.

As part of this solution, we have delivered acquisition applications (for arranging insurance), small web presentations as well as claims handling applications.
