Partner for Liferay migration and local support
Cemex chose Lundegaard as its partner for the extensive migration of its corporate websites to the new generation of the Liferay platform, version 7.4 DXP. The goal of the collaboration was to migrate seven corporate websites (over 1,000 pages) to the newer version of Liferay, audit the technical solution, and create a foundation for stable future development.
Thanks to its practical experience with Liferay technology, Lundegaard played a key role as coordinator of the content migration itself and as a qualified Liferay consultant.

The first part of the collaboration was a detailed audit of the proposed technical migration solution, which aimed to verify the quality of implementation and identify areas for further improvement.
Based on the audit findings, the Lundegaard team proposed specific technical modifications and UX recommendations aimed at improving usability, performance, and overall consistency of websites across individual markets.
The proposed measures reflected both the technical capabilities of the platform and the needs of end users and the long-term sustainability of the solution.
Migration of websites to the new version of Liferay
We became the coordinator of an extensive migration of corporate websites during the upgrade to the Liferay 7.4 DXP platform. As guarantors of content migration, the Lundegaard team actively participated in communication with product owners from individual countries (the Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Poland, Croatia, Germany, and Spain) to ensure the delivery of content, materials, and visual assets for individual local websites.
The role also included recommendations on information architecture and website structure, with an emphasis on the effective use of standardized design system components.
Liferay consulting and support
As Liferay's main partner in the Czech Republic, Lundegaard provided consulting and technical support for the Liferay platform. Cemex thus gained expert support and an experienced team it can rely on to find optimal solutions in Liferay, assistance in troubleshooting technical issues, and implementation of new functionalities as part of service and further development.
