New corporate web with a unique secured "client zone" allowing online control of accounts and performance of active transactions
Description of the solution
The solution is built on the latest CMS LARS Vivo generation, which creates a modern, robust, modular and highly secure foundation for managing sensitive client data and for other extensions or channels (typically a mobile application). The system closely communicates with crucial internal systems and is thus connected in real time with the entire company. The systems prepare the data for further processes. The main communication interface between these systems is the highly accessible Oracle database which operates on CMS LARS Vivo, on an adapted communications layer.
The main emphasis is on self-service and user-friendliness. The overall concept and content structure have undergone a fundamental change, resulting in the simplification of all information. The portal now serves as a knowledge base, which brings together frequent questions in calls to customer lines or standard questions from clients.
On the home page there is direct user access to a selected group of products. This is the first step of the conversion process, which continues on other parts of the site, and the system constantly informs and advises clients what they should do and why.
Flexible calculators are used in different parts of the site and are set up so that they can be freely adjusted or new ones can be added, on a modular basis. The calculators can also be set tailored to a specific product or customer, depending on the preferences of internal systems.
The entire solution uses a number of new technologies that should make it easier for users to find their way around products, process order forms, etc. An important feature is the extensive prompt and validation functions, which are fully linked and display the relevant information in a particular situation.
The main objective of the project is to significantly revitalise and simplify the portal graphics, which have featured in the original version since 2008. Simplification and modernisation of graphic design goes hand in hand with streamlined content management, and a high degree of conversion processes of the website application is maintained. Emphasis is placed on a high level of self-service in website use, especially in the extensive client zone.
The project was extremely comprehensive and challenging project, and during implementation it went through several changes. After weeks of internal operations, it was launched for the end user, in standard production operations.
The modern graphics, together with a flexible and user-friendly control over the entire application, contributes to ease of use of an essential part of the application for end users, who use the loan application.
Throughout the application development, all the parties involved with the internal standard for secure applications. The system is designed with the internal production capacity of the client in mind, so that the application can further develop in close cooperation and outside the main cycle of launching new versions.
As is customary in the financial sector, the application underwent a thorough security audit before being submitted to the client. The audit was carried out by DCIT, a company that focuses on all forms of possible application hacking. The solution thus meets the strictest criteria for applications concerning client personal data.
