Description of the solution

Lundegaard took part in the preparation of concept of PREdistribution websites which included defining the targets and target groups, a detailed description of functionality and it also answered a lot of other questions. Thanks to the careful preparation the consequent implementation ran smoothly.

An integral part of the concept was also the adjustment and simplification of the informative architecture of the websites and preparation of wireframes. The wireframes themselves were prepared in the form of responsive design (RWD) which enabled us to test our websites design on touch devices even at an early phase of the project.

In accordance with the approved wireframes we created graphic design of websites not only for the computers, but also for the touch devices.

The new websites of PREdistribution work on our editorial system CMS LARS Vivo which ensures smooth running and administration of content.

Project objectives

  1. To perform fundamental redesign of websites according to the concept of PRE Group websites.
  2. To increase the self-service with the possibility to solve some requests online.
  3. To improve the company´s image.
  4. To simplify the structure and to improve the controlling of the websites and navigation within them in general.
  5. To optimize the websites for the touch equipment in the form of responsive design.

Result

Websites PREdistribution have undergone a fundamental change of design which is now modern and follows the corporate identity of PRE Group. The accessibility of important information is much better and the content is clearer.

The web is focused on the users from three key segments of the society, i.e. households, companies and producers of electric energy and cooperating companies. The emphasis is on the informative value of the websites and its simplicity and clarity. The sites also help to solve the problems of users and serve as a customer “self-service” with the possibility to solve chosen problems online.

Finally, the websites also fulfil the function of service provider in the form of fast and operative sharing of information with public (i.e. informing about the extraordinary situations, reported and planned outages in the distribution network).

The new website is also optimized for the touch devices (tablet, mobile) and the user can surf it comfortably from home, but also basically anywhere.

Website PREdistribuce won an Industry and Energy category of 14th WebTop100 competition.
