Information system supporting management of projects and change requirements in IT built on the Microsoft Sharepoint Foundation 2010 platform.
Description of the solution
An information system for supporting the process of change management and project management in IT. The administration makes use of the possibilities offered by Sharepoint Foundation 2010 platforms and is additionally programmed with specific functions and website sections according to client requirments. The system is open and can be fully configured by the client from the user interface – including the configurable workflow of the processes, the types of projects, user rights, roles and notifications. The system also includes a reporting section, with visual and non-visual reporting, and makes use of the possibilities of MS reporting services. The user accounts and groups are integrated and replicated from the company Active Directory in a controlled way.
The goal was to codify and make effective newly introduced processes for managing the project that impact on company‘s IT. Process and process support are implemented in information systems, which results in a significant shift in the preparation and quality of the projects to be subsequently carried out.
