“CarReturn” is an online solution for fast booking and resolution of the process of the return of cars under operating leases, whether in due or early time.
Description of the solution
The solution is a web application connected to the associated internal services and data.
Technically, the application is solved on the platform Microsoft .NET and communicates with internal web services over the basic systems and system FleetMonitor. The solution will be soon available also as a part of a native mobile application provided to drivers along with vehicles.
The aim is to automate and support the return of vehicles under operating leases. Whether for the proper termination of the contract, or in an extraordinary time.
The process has so far been solved only through a back office and telephone. The possibility of self-service handling and booking of dates significantly contributes to reducing the burden on internal staff.
In addition to the choice and booking of suitable free time to handle, a customer can choose both driving a vehicle to ALD and the possibility to have a vehicle picked up at a defined address at a given time. In the event of changes in preferences, it is not a problem to check the booking online or change it.
It is expected that online bookings will become the majority way of solution of vehicle returns in the following period.
