We have created an application platform iPresent, which allows to compare income and expenses of 3M solution compared to the competition.
Description of the solution
The solution consists of a custom made iPresent app, which is able to compare current costs and revenues of a practice to possible costs and revenues when using 3M solutions. We utilized our experience in creation of custom-made iPresent applications.
The sales rep fills in basic inputs like current number of patients, overhead costs and brackets costs, directly at the meeting with the client. Afterwards the app displays the comparison with 3M solutions in the form of animated graphs. All benefits are clearly visible and client can decide for a purchase.
The outcomes can be also immediately sent to the customer by email.
The main goal was to create a tool, which will be used on tablets, to support sales of 3M orthodontic solutions in a smart and smooth way.
The sales reps often visit orthodontic practices and try to convince doctors to use 3M products during the treatment. In the past the sales reps used various excel spreadsheets to show calculations of 3M products’ profitability. But these spreadsheets were complicated and inconvenient for the sales reps to use in front of the customers. Moreover, customers did not understand clearly the benefits.
Lundegaard offered a handy solution, utilizing the possibilities of the iPresent platform.
This project was the first iPresent app for 3M Unitek. Sales reps have embraced the tool quickly and currently the app is being used throughout all Western Europe Countries, and we are also preparing modified version for North American countries.
