We have created a sales application to compare savings of the 3M solution compared to the competition. The application is used by traders on iPads during negotiations with customers.
Description of the solution
The solution consists of beautiful calculation app, which is able to compare annual costs of using 3M Coban 2 to two main competitors in the market.
Besides the calculation, the app also helps to build brand awareness by its eye-catching design. The app also reflects new 3M brand identity, which was introduced early in 2015.
The sales rep simply fills in number of patients of the hospital and selects currently used competitive product. The app then instantly shows animated graphs with calculations of possible savings when switching to 3M product. The results are easy to understand and help to convince customer for the purchase. The outcomes can be also immediately sent to the customer by email.
The calculations are backed up with scientific studies, to which the sales rep can immediately refer.
The main goal was to create a sales tool, which will support sales team in their daily work in front of the customers.
Coban 2 is a product used in a compression therapy. It helps to reduce costs of healing venous leg ulcers.
The sales reps used to use various excel spreadsheets for the cost calculations. But these spreadsheets were complicated and very inconvenient for the sales reps to use in front of the customers. Moreover, customers did not understand clearly the benefits.
Lundegaard offered an easy to use solution, utilizing the possibilities of the iPresent platform.
This project was one of the iPresent apps we created for 3M C3SD Division. But it was the first one which was designed in compliance with the newly presented 3M brand identity.
Currently the app is used in the UK sales and its EU master is ready to be rolled-out to other countries of Western Europe.
