Web project concepts
We insist on the fact that the preparation of a high quality concept significantly affects the success of more than just web projects. Therefore, this activity is included in all of our completed projects and we often participate in it even with projects that the client implements with their own means or with another supplier. Preparing a concept includes both the phase of research and analysis and the proposal itself (prototyping, user testing, web graphics). The aim is to prepare the groundwork for the implementation phase of the project, which answers the questions WHAT, WHY and HOW it should be produced. During this we use a user-centered design as a basis, which is focused not only on the needs of the user, but also takes into account business goals and perhaps also technological limits.
Prototyping also significantly reduces the scope and importance of the given documentation, which is replaced by interactive models simulating functions of the resulting web project.
As a part of the detailed concept we especially deal with:
- Project plan, strategy and goals
- Target group
- Business requirements
- Information architecture and content structure
- Wireframes, prototypes (the distribution of individual pages and screens)
- Technical aspects
- Project dimension (time and budget constraints)
- Considering business objectives, technologies and user needs
- We start from the approach of a user-oriented design
- The design correctness shall be verified on real users
Complete submission for production
The interactive prototype clearly describes the functions of the web project, reduces the importance of the written submission and prevents its misinterpretation.
More detailed ESTIMATEs and COST REDUCTION
Thanks to the detailed proposal, you get accurate estimates of labour intensity, it helps you reduce design development costs and minimize possible risks.
Testing web project design on real users represents an integral part of the concept preparation.
